2018 European Heritage Awards Ceremony in Berlin, Germany. Around 1,000 people paid tribute to this year’s winners. Europa Nostra’s President Plácido Domingo and European Commissioner Tibor Navracsics hosted the ceremony, which was honoured with the participation of the Federal President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

2017 European Heritage Awards Ceremony in Turku, Finland. 31 winners of the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards were celebrated. Maestro Plácido Domingo, President of Europa Nostra, and Tibor Navracsics, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, co-hosted the event.

2015 European Heritage Awards Ceremony in Oslo, Norway. Around 600 people gathered to celebrate this year’s winners of the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards. The ceremony was co-hosted by European Commissioner Tibor Navracsics and Europa Nostra’s Executive President Denis de Kergorlay and honoured by the presence of HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway.

2014 European Heritage Awards Ceremony in Vienna, Austria. Around 1,200 people from all over Europe assembled at the iconic Burgtheater to pay tribute to this year’s highest achievements in the heritage field. The event was hosted by the European Commissioner for Culture Androulla Vassiliou and Europa Nostra’s President Maestro Plácido Domingo.

2013 European Heritage Awards Ceremony in Athens, Greece. Around 4,000 people from all over Europe assembled at the Odeion of Herodes Atticus, at the foot of the Acropolis, to honour to this year’s highest achievements in the heritage field and to celebrate Europe as a ‘symphony of cultures’. European Commissioner for Culture Androulla Vassiliou and Europa Nostra’s President Maestro Plácido Domingo co-hosted the event.
