This is the winner of a Prize.

The nominated architect has devoted the last 35 years to the rescue and restoration of monuments in Prahova County, Romania.

He has advocated the protection of at least 600 objects from the area, and reservations for historic village and town architecture. He has been president of, or worked for numerous heritage associations and has promoted and applied avant-garde technical solutions also used in Europe. He has popularised these issues in the local and national press.
